Tansi! Join us for another round of public materials for INDG 2015//SOCI2810 — ‘Indigenous Ecological Ways of Knowing’

I am sharing public materials here so that you can follow along with some aspects of my fall term second year course ‘Indigenous Ecological Ways of Knowing’. This year we’ll be engaging Frantz Fanon’s Wretched of the Earth as our main course text as we think through what it means to live on a planet shaped by the complex inter-connected forces of colonialism, capitalism, white supremacy, extraction, and imperialism. Students will think through what it means to tackle the environmental impacts of social, political, and economic injustice, and we will think through and with Indigenous and non-dominant cosmologies from many homelands. As always, I am so glad you are here and I hope you find these materials useful in your own journey through today’s struggles.
